Introducing Summer Trends With Mucho Mucho Bueno Bueno

One big trend this summer is anything striped and nautical, and for those of you who haven't already started wearing headbands and feathers, now is a great time to start!

Photographer + Make-up: Johnny Rendon
Hair by: Sunchild Salon
Styling: Martin Garza
Models: Kelly Amber Garcia + Brandi Lisenbe
[aka mucho mucho bueno bueno]

Brandi Lisbene is wearing a feather headband, created by Bueno Bueno, Vintage denim vest (from Levi's), and a striped long v neck tank (thrifted at Taxi Taxi), With denim shorts. The boots are vintage that can easily be replaced with any type of combat boot. Sandals are great, but if you plan on stomping around a big city all day, they aren’t so practical (trekking up stairs, through the park, on sidewalks…you get the picture). Boots or flats with a light rubber sole are weightless and easy for strolling.

Stripes are a dominant part of any spring / summer season, though usually, year on year, featuring a variation on the theme. Spring 2011 sees stripes with an unsurprising nautical dominance.

Kelly Garcia is wearing a Band T- shirt taken from the Bueno Bueno Vintage collection, acid washed Jeans that were cut into cuffed shorts Thrifted at Buffalo Exchange, and boots thrifted at one of her favorite Houston places, Texas Junk. Again wearing a braided headband by BUENO BUENO.

All of our trends posts are intended to show that summer trends does not have to break your bank. Headbands and feathers are definitely a trend you need to try this spring + summer.
You can find one of a kind, handmade made headbands on Brandi + Kelly's Blog Mucho Mucho Bueno Bueno OR you can go directly to their online SHOP (yes, they take a lot of custom orders too).
